PICTURE TAKING

Patient alignment:

Position the patient with their 
chin in the chinrest and 
forehead tight against the 
instrument.  They may have to 
turn their head slightly so the 
cone does not hit their nose.  
Adjust the height of the 
chinrest so their eye is level 
with the red mark on the 
headrest bar.

The patient is instructed to 
look down the center of the cone, 
hold still and fixate on the blinking white light.
